I had the wonderful opportunity to join Save the 1 women and interview as a group on Dr. James Dobson's Family Talk Radio. We each shared our stories of rising up from difficult stigmas, prejudices, and abuses - we encouraged others to walk in victory instead of victimization. Altogether, we were either conceived by rape, or a mother by rape. It was a powerful interview, that Dr. Dobson kept as much as he could, and it became a 3-part interview segment that they aired more than once!

I had the privilege to open in prayer for the Older Women Reaching Back For The Younger Women conference in 2016. I gave a short message on the overcoming life struggles, foundation in God, and how coffee metaphorically reflects that.

I shared my vulnerable story of becoming free from a very abusive relationship/marriage. I gave my testimony in my son's life being just as valuable as any other despite being conceived by rape of my fiancé who forced me into marriage. The message centered around how we can make a difference in people's lives before these hardships hit, so they can either be prevented, or helped with a trust and relationship already established. The topic focused on what we can do today, because we need to see people, not problems. I closed the message with an applicable song that I played on the piano while singing.
