Robyn Penner Thiessen is a dynamic speaker, seasoned consultant, and skilled facilitator specializing in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and inclusive leadership. With over 20 years of experience spanning HR, social work, and cross-cultural engagement, Robyn empowers leaders to build equitable workplaces where diverse teams can thrive.

Her expertise is rooted in both professional and lived experience. Robyn has held HR leadership roles, where she designed and implemented strategies to enhance employee engagement, inclusion, and organizational success. Her Master’s research in interreligious dialogue deepened her understanding of power dynamics, systemic inequities, and the importance of cultural competency in leadership.

Having lived and worked in Kenya for seven years, Robyn gained firsthand insight into global diversity and cross-cultural collaboration. Her experience with an international relief organization operating in over 40 countries has further informed her approach to fostering cultural awareness, inclusive workplaces, and leadership development.

Robyn’s passion for DEI is both professional and deeply personal. As a parent of two adopted Black children, she is committed to creating more just, equitable, and thriving workplaces. She works with leaders across industries to address unconscious bias, enhance inclusive leadership skills, and foster environments of belonging.
