Shannon is an accomplished executive coach and team facilitator, bringing over two decades of leadership experience in education and business. With a passion for creating clarity and fostering courageous leadership, Shannon’s approach is one of intellect and emotion. Two requirements for leading self and others.
Earlier in her career, Shannon worked with prominent North American thought-leaders, facilitating strategic school change initiatives, and coaching secondary school educators. After earning a Master of Education, Shannon transitioned seamlessly into the corporate world, where she spent almost a decade in a prominent Crown Corporation in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She was instrumental in embedding organizational change management into the core of the organization and leading people-readiness strategies for several multi-million-dollar business transformation programs. Through progressive leadership roles, Shannon served as the Chief Human Resource Officer and the Vice President of People and Product. She successfully set the foundation for a strategic corporate-wide culture shift to enable business outcomes, and was identified for CEO succession.
After choosing to walk away from that, Shannon’s journey took an unexpected turn when she followed her instincts, embraced curiosity, and created the transformative space known as Red Chair. This evolved into Red Chair Ranch, a beautiful, serene environment where horses are essential partners in the coaching and facilitation experience.
The Red Chair Ranch herd, Annie, Blaze, Jack, and Kiante possess a remarkable ability to mirror our emotions and intentions, enabling us to witness our own essence within their coherent energy field. Through close interaction with them, people find a profound sense of connection, trust, and understanding. With their wisdom they guide humans to increased clarity of self and others.
Shannon is not only a certified Professional Coach. She spent a year developing herself to deliver Equine Facilitated Learning and Coaching experiences through an Academy in Colorado. She holds a Master of Education from the University of Manitoba, and an Executive Certificate in Management from Queen’s University. She is certified to use Core Strengths and the EQi 2.0.
Today, Shannon guides individuals and groups through virtual coaching programs, on-sight experiences at Red Chair Ranch, and inspires others as she shares her inspirational story in her speaking engagements. Shannon’s unique approach blends strategic executive coaching with equine wisdom, inviting individuals to think strategically and explore their internal landscape enabling them to consciously lead and make a difference in their world.
