Bio

We are in a fascinating time living in a VUCA world, so I use the art of Mixology to create worthwhile and well-balanced mix of frameworks, methods, approaches & techniques to help you adapt and build a powerful and positive future with leadership agility.

Flourishing Humans: Exceptional Experiences.

I think of myself as a journeyman practitioner. Attempting almost anything I think can make a difference. Building in resilence practices and the art/science of combining the Human, Emotional Intelligence & Artificial Intelligence. It is #humanisingIT.

Honoured to be a recognised as a Top 25 industry thought leader, I've recently enjoyed being the Editorial Director of 'The Era of HumanisingIT' docuseries produced by @Freshworks ExperienceIT and Devil Boy Productions. I'm also a contributing author to VeriSM Unwrapped and Applied and ITIL4 High Velocity IT and a Lead Author for ITIL4 course content. Don't be surprised to see me on the module introduction videos!

Thought-provoking and relevant, I like to probe the hearts and minds of businesses and IT, finding out what makes them tick and jumpstarting people's thinking to evolve behaviour and actions at any level. People connected, knowledge shared, possibilities discovered and potential realised are my active values and through these, help you articulate your vision, enable smoother transitions and form a resilient foundation on which you can drive your business forward in this fast-paced digital world. I combine my Service Management with my HR, Organisational Change and complementary health background for a deep leadership experience.

An Australian living in France, travelling to many countries on assignment, enjoying different languages, cultures and ways of working giving me broad perspectives. As freelance, I'm available to discuss contracts, projects, opportunities and travel the world either virtually or face-to-face.

Actively engaged across Social Media Channels co-hosting podcasts, writing blogs and speaking at industry conferences, seminars and workshops - find me here: http://www.simonejomoore.com/events

Machine Humanity

Our fascination with machines is infinite as is the unceasing focus to humanise them. How far are we willing to take AI? Humans are emotional but not always emotionally intelligent so it’s possible we limit the technology as much as the technology may turn us into automatons, losing ourselves in what we create. To deal with the volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity of our environment we must look beyond IT.

Explore the +/- of VUCA with resilience vs. resistance
Understand Talent Diversity Requirements in the Machine Age
Elevate habit while retaining originality

Being Emotional - An Intelligent Choice

The World Economic Forum lists Emotional Intelligence as one of the Top 10 skills for 2020+ and statistics from Harvard, Stanford, and Carnegie Foundation show we are only paying attention to our soft skills 10% of the time. Denying, ignoring or overriding emotions disregards the whole person and exponential capacity and success of a team. The more Emotional Intelligence (EI), the more adaptive and innovative you are and able to live in a digital world. The better we are able to flow through the detect, decipher, comprehend, facilitate and regulate activities of our everyday interactions. EI matters, so harness the emotional chaos and lead yourself and your team with mind and heart.

Relationship Agility

New ways of working based on Lean, Agile and DevOps demand equally new personal qualities. To stand steady in constant change, we need to mix frameworks and skills. Not only to address technology change but build in change resilience rather than manage change resistance. This is an opportunity for you to examine your relationships, collaboration, values, emotional intelligence and behaviours, exploringhowtheyfitinthisnew setting and apply them effectively. This workshop helps you create more adaptive and innovative interactions.

Living in Ebb & Flow

Being dynamic, fast and smooth flowing is more than a technology expectation, it’s a human one! Systems make it possible but people make it happen so let’s talk about your balance between ebb and flow.

If we’re to ‘get in the zone’ faster and be in flow more often, we need better understanding of living in a VUCA world, what needs to exist in our strategy to build resilient behaviour and continue to evolve our ability. Combined, this helps to keep ourselves in a mindful state - a flow state in which our people can feel and experience being energised and fully involved.

Transition to Innovation - A way of thinking

It takes imagination, leadership and cultural change to have a creative and innovative future. For that to happen, there is no choice but to evolve or die and that depends on thinking differently and knowing how your leadership makes a difference. New technology is going to continually emerge and that requires any changes you bring in to be sustained for a strong base from which to take the next leap into the future. It starts with synchronising your vision to have an engaged, collaborative culture. Using some lessons from the wild, take on the wisdom from those that have gone before you. Get to know some useful resources and give your innovation meaning.

VoiceWorks - The Sound of Customer Engagement

Customers see with their ears! A vital communication component - your voice and that of your team. Sound bytes can bite and your customer stops listening. When that happens, words become wasted. With some fun exercises, discover the unique voice that represents your team and engage your listeners heart and mind. improve productivity in all voice interactions and enhance your customers perception.
