Sonya Shelton, CEO and founder of Executive Leadership Consulting (ELC), is the author of the Amazon best selling book “You’re an Executive, But Are You a Leader?”. As an international speaker and consultant, she shows managers and executives how to increase their leadership effectiveness and gain alignment in their organization so they can boost their professional and business results.
Sonya designed the programs at ELC based on her more than 25 years experience as a leader in a variety of companies and industries, including the high-paced fields of publishing, advertising, and entertainment. She has worked as an executive coach and consultant with companies around the world from start-ups to Fortune 100 corporations, including Disney, Nestle, and Microsoft.
Her background as an executive coach and communications, organization development, and change management consultant adds a multidimensional approach to the leadership programs at ELC. This customizable approach includes leadership development from the perspective of the self, interpersonal, team, and organization. Sonya has helped her clients crystallize the vision and create strategies to achieve it.
Sonya has a Masters of Science in Organization Development from Pepperdine University and has been certified in Evidence-Based Coaching from Fielding Graduate University.
