The Heart of the Entrepreneur, Dying to Win
“I used to think that the worst thing in life was to end up alone. It’s not. The worst thing in life is to end up with people who make you feel alone.” -Robin Williams This is an invitation to take a look at the condition of our hearts as entrepreneurs, business owners, and creative professionals. You see, we don’t lose our souls at the end of the experience. No, we lose it by unnoticeable degrees. We lose it in the process. We overlook details. We take a little extra time at the office. We over leverage our finances for the next big win, and before we know it we’re walled in. A life full of incredible achievement, and we’ve missed the point. I will challenge some of your dearest assumptions and possibly nudge you out of your comfort zones. But I promise it will be well worth the momentary discomfort. I will show you how to- Discover a new vision, Upgrade your fulfillment software, eliminate destructive environments, develop immunity to setbacks and leave a legacy.
The Motivation of Change & What's Holding Us Back
Overview of Talk: With every "how to" under the sun nowadays everyone looks, believes and hopes for a great new opportunity in business and life. On the outside what used to seem impossible now seems possible-which it is great and necessary but has also become back-breaking statistics to families, individuals and business. 90% of businesses fail. It's not from lack of effort, but lack of a deep purpose. Objective of Presentation: 1. Get each participant invested emotionally into the talk, conference and purpose for which they're there by taking the someday or someone else thoughts to today and really investigating their own purpose. 2. Evaluate & Measure- Take a big picture look at themselves, their business, family outlook and what really matters to them now & in the future. 3. Help them break their E-Barrier (the glass ceiling of limitations, self-limiting beliefs, false belief patterns, shame, and guilt.) Get them to dream again and find their true why in life and business.
Suicide of Success
We dig deep into the links between the most successful leaders in history through today and their relationships with mental health and addiction. How were Abraham Lincoln, Winston Churchill, Martin Luther King Jr., Herschel Walker, Michael Phelps and many others able to overcome their mental health issues? How were Robert E. Lee, Stonewall Jackson, Eric Clapton, Russel Brand and many others able to overcome their life-threatening addiction challenges? Whether it's a slow fade, a closet addiction or a glaring problem, addiction and mental health challenges come at business owners from many directions and in many forms. As leaders its hard to lose our "status" when we open up about our challenges, so we usually push through and try to use willpower to overcome. We've seen how that ends with so many celebrities and top leaders leaving us way to early to the disease of suicide. This is a real in-the-trenches conversation about how we can combat these challenges together.
