Bias Reduction in the Workplace
ROLL your way to non-biased interactions with colleagues, customers, stakeholders and members of the public each and every time. This three-part, tailor-made course includes an e-workbook to track progress in reducing bias and in developing healthier and happier relationships with themselves and others. Bias Reduction in the Workplace includes: 1. Identity biases from a pubic perspective (past and present) 2. Biases from your/your company's perspective 3. How to reduce biases by ROLLing with it! 4. What does it mean to ROLL? 5. Respect, Responsibility, Rules 6. Objective Open Mind for Optimal Options and Outcomes 7. Listen and Learn Case studies and public examples are used; and participants may to take part in a journaling exercise each day for 8 days after the workshop, with a follow up session scheduled after completion.
Building Healthy and Happy Relationships (Kindergarten)
Kindergarten and lower primary school students get the chance to be interactive by answering questions and acting out how to ROLL as Sue reads her book "ROLL with it!" aloud. As with all ROLL events, the focus is on Respect, keeping an Open mind, Listening and Learning as a way to build healthy and happy relationships, most importantly with themselves, others and their environment. Worksheets for teachers to use to continue the lessons in the classroom are provided.
