grandmother’s protection and nurturing nature that helped shield her from her parents’ drug and alcohol addictions. Her father’s untimely death was a reminder that time is of the essence. The loss of her mother to cancer added another layer of strength and perseverance to her character.
Adversity has not caused her to break stride; loss has not prevented her from reaching for more. Through every hardship and loss in Tamieka’s life, God’s grace has proven sufficient.
