Tammy McCrory LLP, BCBA-LBA

Ms. Tammy R. McCrory is a Clinical Limited Licensed Psychologist, Supervisor, and Maternal and Infant Public Health Specialist with a proven track record of providing high-quality care. She is also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and practicing Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in the State of Michigan. Ms. McCrory holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology, a post-graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analyst and Trauma-Intervention. Ms. McCrory has also received specialized training in autism identification, assessment, differential diagnoses, and best treatment options for autism spectrum disorder, along with trauma identification and treatment training.

Ms. McCrory has served a diverse range of populations; Earlier in her career, she worked as a Health Information and Technology Release Specialist at Sinai Grace Hospital. Her early career began with the Detroit Area Agency of Aging where she coordinated the self-determination program before joining Grandmont Rosedale Development Coordination on a macro level to assist with efforts to improve the overall quality of life for community residents.

Shortly thereafter, Ms. McCrory launched Social Care Administrators (now known as the McCrory Center), where she managed a team of Clinical Professionals (Licensed Practical Nurse, Clinical Master Social Worker, Infant Mental Health Specialist, Clinical Student Interns, etc.) in an effort to improve the overall health outcomes of pregnant women and infants in the State of Michigan. ​

She joined the leadership team at one of Michigan’s largest state-operated health departments, the Detroit Health Department, in 2017 as a Public Health Project Leader, before being selected by the Chief Medical Executive to become the Director of Maternal and Infant Health Services. In this role, she oversaw three complex and significant public health projects and was responsible for defining processes, coordinating services, and overseeing day-to-day operations within the division. ​

Drawing on the 10+ years of professional services to at-risk and vulnerable populations, Ms. McCrory's primary focus is on the early identification and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders, and professional development training for upcoming and aspiring professionals.
