Terri Addison is a mother of five children. As a single parent, she achieved a degree in General Studies and ran two businesses. Over the past 30 years, she has homeschooled, public schooled, and private schooled her children. As a current private school parent, parent of children of color, and parent of a child with learning disabilities, she has a perspective on education that cannot be devalued in today's anti-conservative environment. She became very concerned as private and independent schools started severely silencing parents. This became a full attack on parent's rights in the past year with the introduction of political and social ideologies in the curriculum. Realizing that being a voice for conservative children was the most important thing a parent can do, she founded PrivestEd.
