She worked in the advertising industry for 12+ years. As a Director of Strategy, she developed high-level marketing strategies for renowned brands such as AstraZeneca, Capital One, Cinnabon, Dell, Macy’s, The Home Depot and Verizon Wireless.
Her experience as a keynote speaker, corporate trainer and workshop facilitator spans across audiences on a local and global scale. She has been invited to speak to students, corporate leaders, churches, and community organizations.
When she is not consulting, writing or speaking, she enjoys going overseas to explore and learn about different cultures. Her experience in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Dubai, Italy, France and more has broadened her perspective on life.
After being diagnosed with Stage 1B breast cancer in 2021, she fought and won the battle after 4 surgeries, 16 rounds of chemo, and 30 days of radiation. She gained a greater sense of purpose and clarity about who she was and what she was born to do. She vowed to use her gifts and “second chance” to value life, help women discover who they are at the core, and be intentional about the journey to becoming their true selves. Her philosophy is, “Give yourself permission and space to embrace who you are. Life begins when you find your truth.”
Thandi is happily married to Joshua Montgomery and is the proud mother of little Joshua and little Thandi. She lives in Dallas, TX, is a member of the Potter’s House, and enjoys spending time with her family, reading, eating gourmet popcorn and cheering for the Dallas Cowboys.
