In my 30 years as an entrepreneur, I’ve have learned that there are many benefits and rewards to building and growing a company. It is one of the most fulfilling endeavors a person can decide to take. There is also a hefty price to pay that is often not discussed with startups and prospective business owners, which leaves many of them vulnerable to frustration and failure. Starting and scaling a business requires deep sacrifice, immense endurance, decision making skills and intestinal fortitude and perseverance. When the big opportunities are presented to business owners, they must push away emotions and make well thought out, analytical decisions in order to succeed.
