About
Because I sit at an intersection most speakers can't claim: clinical depth, business fluency, and real-world performance experience. I don't speak about human behavior in theory alone. I've spent over 12 years inside the psychology of high-stakes decision-making, elite athletic performance, and organizational leadership where the margin between success and breakdown is entirely human. My frameworks are built from the field - shaped by work with Olympians, professional athletes, ETA searchers, and executive teams navigating pressure that doesn't show up on a balance sheet but absolutely shows up in results. I hold a PhD in clinical counseling and a Global Executive MBA from Duke, and I translate that across disciplines in a way that is rigorous, accessible, and immediately applicable. Audiences don't leave with inspiration. They leave with a framework, a shift in how they see performance, and language for problems they've been carrying without a name.
Overcoming the Fear of ..... Failing. Success. Imposter Syndrome. Not Being Enough.
Fear Is Not the Problem. The Architecture Is. Most organizations treat fear as a personal issue. This keynote reveals it as a structural one — a cognitive blueprint that shapes identity, behavior, and ultimately organizational output. A belief becomes a business problem when an individual gets stuck in a negative cognitive loop. This cognitive loop is the single greatest predictor of performance ceiling in high-achieving professionals. This is crucial as fear-based cognitive beliefs don't stay in the mind. They become biological, relational, and behavioral facts. For example, chronic activation of the threat response narrows cognitive bandwidth; the brain literally has less capacity for creativity, strategy, and sound judgment under fear. Fear beliefs become identity statements: 'I am an imposter,' 'I am not enough.' Once internalized, the person stops trying to overcome the fear and instead they manage it as a fact about themselves. And finally, unaddressed fear depletes emotional regulation capacity. What looks like poor leadership, conflict avoidance, or reactivity in the workplace is often dysregulation downstream of a fear belief. As a result, decisions are slow or deferred because nobody owns risk, talent performs below capacity because the ceiling is psychological, innovation stalls because failing is too costly to the identity, and so much more. The goal is not fearlessness. The goal is a cognitive system where fear no longer makes decisions.
