From Tragedy to Working Strategies - Turning Traumatic Events Into Empowering Moments

Your ability to persevere after being thrust into bleak circumstances and uncertain outcomes is the most valuable trait you must absorb. In this engaging talk, participants will be empowered and learn how to turn their tragedy into working strategies to create the life they desire, in spite of health or wealth challenges. They will walk away understanding how the power of their words can literally change the trajectory of their destination, as they embark upon their new journey of becoming the strategist of their own destiny!

My Name is VICTORY -The Power of Your Words

Affirmations empower and inspire you, and provide an overall improvement in your well-being and outlook on life. The road to power is taking responsibility in creating your own atmosphere for change as you deal with the challenges that accompany life. In this engaging talk, participants will be empowered and learn what they say about themselves have greater impact than anything anybody else says about them. They will understand how the words they speak sink into their minds and before long can develop a winning or defeated mentality. They will understand one of the best ways to break free from such strongholds is simply by speaking words of victory.

When Caregivers Need Care Given - Caring For Yourself While Caring For Others

Being a caregiver can be a difficult role. It requires patience, sensitivity, selflessness, and hard work. Providing care for someone, whether it’s a child, a parent, a loved one, or as a professional requires a high level of self-love and self-care. Caregiving can feel rewarding and hard at the same time. But while it may be a rewarding experience to care for a loved one, the emotional and physical stress of caregiving far too often leads to burnout and exhaustion, causing caregivers to put themselves and their own well-being in the background.
So, what if the person in need is the caregiver themselves? What do you do when the caregiver needs care given? How can you fulfill your role as a caregiver without losing yourself? In this engaging talk, caregivers will walk away with the reassurance needed to continue their caregiving journey.

  • I would like to thank Ms. Twylia Reid for being the guest speaker at our Caregivers Conference. She gave our participants the opportunity to better understand the journey of those afflicted with traumatic brain injuries and disorders. The examples she shared were both informational and highly motivating. I gained valuable insights on overcoming tragedy through love and faith. Excellent presentation!

  • I was looking for someone to speak to our Family Caregivers group at St. Stephen First Martyr Catholic Church in Hinesville. I came across Ms. Twylia Reid's website and contacted her. She spoke to our group in November for National Family Caregivers Month. Ms. Reid is a dynamic speaker. People are still commenting on how much they enjoyed her talk. I know that she touched many hearts that day. She spoke on behalf of caregivers and care receivers. She is very warm and it was so easy to communicate with her what I wanted for our group. We want her to come again.
