Hello my name is Uledus Roseman and I'm a motivational speaker and lifestyle coach. I was born October 13 ,1966 and was raised by my grandmother in Sedalia Missouri. When I was eight years old, my grandmother sent me to Oakland California to live with my mother ,the strongest woman I have ever known. Due to an abusive marriage to my step father, my mother kept me in and out of Hamilton Junior High School. Not being able to stay in school on a regular basis, I soon developed a learning disability and ended up in special education. Because of my learning disability I wasn't able to graduate from Smith Cotton High School with a high school diploma. Instead , I was given a certificate of faithful attendance. At that moment, I thought I would not amount to anything. At the age of 24, I moved to St Paul, Minnesota to live with some of friends with only 50 bucks in my pocket. It wasn't long until I became addicted to drugs and alcohol. At the age of 35, I chose to go to Minneapolis Community and Technical College, and it changed my life forever. It gave me the facts, information, and skills that I needed to achieve a degree in addiction counseling. After that I was able to help people overcome their addiction to drugs and alcohol and fully develop their character and abilities. My own personal journey, and the belief that with hard work and effort people can change for the better, is the fire that fuels me to become a motivational speaker and lifestyle coach.
