Overcoming the Loss and Grief of My Son
This presentation is about grief and life after loss. I connect with others through my story of how my son was diagnosed 3 weeks after birth with a fatal disease called Zellweger's Syndrome. I speak about finding inner strength during challenging times. This speech ends with the silver lining's I have found in my journey and the closure of eternal love that continues to exist with my son Kamden.
Diversity & Inclusivity
In this presentation, I begin with my story as a black- multi-raced woman in America. I connect with others by sharing Martin Luther King's vision for the future. I then discuss strategies how the future generations can be the change that we collectively need. I discuss proper language and terminology around D&I and I discuss the values of Diversity, Inclusivity, Equity and Belonging.
Resilient Leadership
In this presentation I discuss what the future of emerging leadership looks like. I tie in effective methods of Resilient Leadership that lead to an organization being sustainable with a focus on social justice, groups of living systems, Theory U strategies, and Diversity, Equity, Inclusivity, and Belonging. Anyone can start an organization but can you create a sustainable one?
