The news comes at us fast and furious, and it's not always easy to know where to get information that is unbiased and factful (yes, fact"ful"). I'll provide tips on how to evaluate the bias and reliability of the media you consume (websites, podcasts, YouTube, TV, etc.) to help you to become a savvy media consumer.

News literacy is really about critical thinking, and the Media Bias Chart® is a useful tool to help you think critically about the media you consume. This program can be tailored for educators and librarians teaching students how to navigate the media landscape, or for local civics and community groups who want to make sure the news they read and share is reliable and unbiased.
