In 1997 Yovanka became the entertainment face for Primer Impacto, an acclaimed television show of largest Hispanic media network in the US, Univision.
Her daily presence on the television screen would bring the juiciest interviews or stories with the biggest Latin celebrities like Selena, Shakira, Christina Aguilera, Jlo, Sofia Vergara, Roselyn Sanchez, Alicia Machado, and many others.
A few years later in 2002, she joined Latin media giant Telemundo, the American Spanish-language terrestrial television network owned by NBCUniversal. Here, Sanchez created, produced, and hosted exclusive special interviews, Barbara Walters style, with Latin celebrities and developed other shows for the network focus on women.
