Five years ago, I was just another face in the sea of corporate professionals living in New York City. From the outside, it seemed like I had it all - a stable job, financial security, and a life in one of the world's most iconic cities. However, deep down, I was miserable. The city that never sleeps never let me rest either, and the corporate world I was so deeply entrenched in left me feeling suffocated and trapped.
I needed to make a change. And so, I decided to take a leap of faith, get rid of my possessions, and embark on a new journey as a digital nomad. The idea of working remotely while exploring the world was both exhilarating and terrifying, but I knew it was the change I needed to make to find the happiness and fulfillment that had eluded me for so long.
I started my digital nomad journey as an SEO freelancer. The freedom to work from Bali and on my own terms was life-changing, and I quickly discovered the sense of purpose and joy that I had been searching for. As I continued to grow professionally, I eventually took on a pivotal role as the Head of Strategy and Acquisitions for that company which has since successfully went public on Nasdaq.
Now, I wear many hats: CEO of SEOButler.com, M&A at Onfolio, a Forbes-published writer, and a passionate public speaker who helps others buy and sell online businesses - a fantastic way for aspiring digital nomads to begin their own journey. My experiences have not only transformed my own life but have also allowed me to empower others to pursue their dreams.
