Hi, I'm Matt, a coach, leadership and product management professional originally from Sydney, Australia. With over 10+ years in the finance sector and 8+ years of experience living and working in Tokyo, I now reside in Perth. I have over 20 years of experience speaking, facilitating and training across a variety of channels, including in-person and online. With a background in education, Maribeth has always enjoyed teaching and storytelling. Her family's world was rocked when they lost their 14-year-old son, Chris, to cancer. During Chris's four grueling years of treatment, his body grew weaker, but his spirit grew stronger. His wisdom and humor impacted everyone around him. This was the topic of Maribeth's first book, and this began her speaking career. Maribeth also battled addiction and had to find a higher power to find freedom. This began the faith journey that led her back to her Christian roots. She also joined a 12-step program. Maribeth began speaking at faith-based venues and women's retreats. She is a frequent speaker with Celebrate Recovery. In 2015, Maribeth's world crumbled again, when her only surviving son, Jarrod, was suddenly killed in an accident.
