He started his public accounting career in year 2000, and is well-versed in financial statement audit, review, compilation and analysis; tax preparation, planning and compliance for individuals, families, corporations, partnerships and trusts; and international businesses, taxation and capital market operations. He specializes in business, personal and estate tax planning utilizing tax and financial accounting strategies to help his clients achieve their goals.
Thomas Chang CPA was an audit partner of public companies listed in the U.S. stock markets with main operations in the U.S., China, and Taiwan. He supervised audit engagements performed in accordance with the PCAOB Standards, U.S. GAAP, and the SEC rules for IPO, APO, Reverse Merger, and SEC regulatory filing engagements.
Thomas Chang CPA was also a Vice President of Enterprise Risk Assessment at Bank of America, N.A., where he analyzed sophisticated technical accounting issues and identified risks associated with mortgage servicing rights, retained interests, securitizations, and loan loss reserves.
Thomas Chang CPA accumulated considerable experience in complex technical accounting topics when he served at the audit practice of KPMG LLP in Los Angeles. He specialized in financial statement audits and reviews of Form 10-K and 10-Q for SEC reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley Act Section 404 audits, HUD and USAP audits and other assurance services with industry expertise in financial services.
Thomas Chang CPA started his career with the audit practice at Deloitte & Touche, LLP (formerly T N Soong, LLP) in Taipei, Taiwan, and was substantially involved in auditing public companies listed at the Taiwan Stock Exchange in various industries, including financial services, manufacturing, broker-dealer, hotel, construction, and high-tech.
Thomas Chang CPA received a Master of Accounting degree from the Ross Business School at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. He graduated with School Honor from National Taipei University, Taiwan with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
