Mike has been leading successful development teams for over a decade. With experience in the financial, retail and aviation space, Mike has always been passionate about using cutting edge technology to solve complex problems. Mike has led business intelligence teams, built fully automated test suites and architected full software solutions to streamline and improve these industries. In 2015 Mike decided to blend his unique background of marijuana cultivation and software development to bring one of the most technically advanced seed to sale solutions to the market. In his current role as co-founder and CEO of StashStock Mike has focused on bringing RFID technology to the cannabis space. Mike holds a masters degree in computer engineering from the University of Michigan.
He is the CEO and technical lead at StashStock, focusing on RFID and proactive compliance solutions aimed at eliminating labor costs and damage to product. Mike has more than 8 years of experience growing cannabis for medical use, processing cannabis for consumption, and running retail cannabis operations in Michigan.
Under Mike's guidance, StashStock created the first and only fully integrated RFID-based cultivation solution for states utilizing the METRC system and are working on a patent for this technology. StashStock also created the first integration for Michigan's Secure Transportation market providing real-time and historical reporting of vehicle locations, pick-up / delivery geo-fencing, and more.
Previously, he lead the Business Intelligence team for one of the top 3 mortgage lending companies in the United States. Mike also was the primary architect that designed and built software that powers all online and in-station sales for train tickets for a multi-billion dollar train company. Working on vastly huge systems and integrations is something I have a lot of experience with.
