The past year has been very challenging because of the pandemic. COVID-19 has changed a lot of lives, including public speakers and how events were organized.

But still, we can’t believe how fast time has flown and how much we have learned in the past five years since SpeakerHub has started. We remained focused on our main goal: help speakers get more bookings and grow their speaking business. 

We wanted to take a moment to thank you for joining the site and for staying with us—we wouldn’t be here without you.   

We wanted to share with you some of the statistics about our growth, the inside scoop about who our speakers are, as well as some key indicators about our business.

Key Indicators

Here are some key statistics:

  • We have 13,815 publicly visible speakers on the site

  • Gender: 55% men, 45% women

  • Our speakers come from 143 countries.

  • Number of “calls for speakers” in the past 4 years —  15,274 

  • Paid events posted — 1,905

Agencies, alumni and other white label clients

SpeakeHub also serves many agencies and alumni with our white label directory. Creating helpful resources for professionals in the speaking industry is a key component of the SpeakerHub platform, and over the past 5 years we have created a diverse collection of articles and media. 

Podcasts

The podcast series, “World of Speakers” has been running for 51 months, with episodes released on a bi-monthly basis.

Over the 98 interviews, we’ve amassed 60hrs of recordings from professional speaking experts from around the world.  The podcast has had 66K listens. 

We’ve welcomed some high-level guests, like Dr. Nick Morgan, Neil Patel, Cynthia Johnson, Dorie Clark, Josh Linkner, Manoj Vasudevan, and Drew Dudley.

SkillCamp and blog

We’ve posted 403 original articles in the past 5 years, and overall have had 118.9K article reads for this year.

The articles, podcasts, infographics and videos on SpeakerHub's SkillCamp provide professional speakers with new ideas, expert insights, practical how-to's, and inspiration. The key focuses are speaking skills and business building.

We’ve covered all sorts of topics that range from how to avoid catastrophes, through how to handle hecklers, to the best technology for speakers and trainers.

We send out a bi-monthly newsletter that includes a section listing articles from around the web that would be helpful to speakers, such as recent, top articles from Forbes or Harvard Business Review, new technologies and trends, upcoming online classes and webinars, or free industry reports.
