As a young patient coordinator, I began taking ownership of challenges beyond my role, operating at the level of the position I wanted long before anyone changed my title. ​ That mindset led me from frontline operations to executive leadership, helping build teams, launch initiatives, drive growth, and eventually earn equity in the businesses I helped shape. Along the way, I noticed a common pattern: talented people—especially women—often wait until they feel fully qualified before stepping forward. ​ Own Your Seat was built to challenge that mindset.
