Dr. Sarah Porter (she/her) is an award-winning, Stanford-educated counseling psychologist, professor, and founder of a workplace training and consulting practice where she brings together her passion for teaching, knowledge of human behavior and brain science, and experience in the corporate and higher education sectors to offer virtual workshops and keynotes on research-backed strategies that increase individual and organizational effectiveness, engagement, and - above all - well-being. She loves nothing more than showing people simple ways to incorporate proven skills into our daily lives to help us thrive.
Dr. Porter’s training work is informed by stints as a management consultant for a Big Four professional services firm and a career counseling center director in addition to nearly two decades of clinical experience in community mental health, domestic violence treatment, and several university counseling center settings. She has published research in multiple peer-reviewed journals, presented extensively at national conferences, and served in leadership positions within her profession, including as a member of the Commission for Counseling and Psychological Services directorate for the American College Personnel Association (ACPA). She was awarded ACPA's Early Career Achievement Award for her work in college mental health.
