Licensed clinical psychologist Andrea Liner, PsyD, is a highly-trained and detail-oriented mental health provider serving the community of Denver, Colorado. At her private practice, Flux Psychology, Dr. Liner specializes in helping young adults cope with transition and the challenges that inevitably come up in life.
Dr. Liner completed her Bachelor of Science in psychology at The University of Texas at Austin. She earned her Doctor of Psychology from George Washington University and served her predoctoral internship at The Catholic University of America, both in Washington, DC. Dr. Liner also participated in prestigious fellowship training at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
Dr. Liner primarily offers personalized therapy services to help clients cope with anxiety, depression, stress, grief, relationship issues, and challenging life transitions. She understands that the demands of modern life can be overwhelming and that imposter syndrome is a prevalent issue, even for the most confident people. In a world where everyone else looks successful on social media, Dr. Liner helps clients improve their confidence, overcome challenges, and thrive.
Only being able to reach so many people in a one to one business model, Dr. Liner is working to branch out into more public speaking and writing roles to better spread her ideas and knowledge. Providing speeches and workshops/trainings is the perfect way for Dr. Liner to combine her love of all things psychology with her background in performing; she misses the stage!
Her relatable and integrative approach helps clients learn about themselves even when it's uncomfortable. She helps clients identify their values and motivations, while also teaching them strategies to achieve fulfilling lives. In fact, Dr. Liner wrote the book on it — #Adulting: Psychological Secrets to finally feeling like a “real” grownup (without faking it). She also creates insightful and helpful Instagram posts at @dr.andrea.liner and @fluxpsychology.
