Dr. Angela D. Reddix is the Chairman and Founder of Envision Lead Grow, a nonprofit organization aimed at aspiring girls of all ages to chart their destinies by teaching them the skills and dedication required to accomplish their dreams through entrepreneurship.
Her own entrepreneurial drive led Angela to found ARDX, an award-winning healthcare management and IT consulting firm with 100 plus employees. As she conducts her business as CEO, Angela manages to craft a vision for the next generation of Girl Bosses. With Envision Lead Grow, in just three short years, she has created a framework that has begun teaching over 600 girls in 38 states the fundamentals of being a business owner.
She doesn’t stop at teaching, the majority of girls have started their own businesses with support from a mentorship network and on-going video conference training. By year four, Envision Lead Grow will have matriculated 1,000 girls in over 48 cities across the United States.
Each Girl Boss is flown into 1 of 4 Entrepreneurship Summer Camps on an annual basis with no cost to them or their families. Initially entirely underwritten by Dr. Reddix, Envision Lead Grow is now welcoming regional and national sponsorship partners to join her in building the next generation of leaders.
Each Girl Boss is incentivized to do her best to win an all-expense paid trip to the ELG Immersion weekend, where they will hear presentations from Fortune 500 leaders and highly successful entrepreneurs who will share their expertise and personal insights for developing effective leadership and business skills.
If that isn’t enough, select Girl Bosses are receiving the opportunity to sell their goods and services in Envision Lead Grow’s e-commerce storefront, elgmarketplace.com, launching Summer 2019. The goal of the marketplace will be to collect the goods and services of Girl Bosses and provide them with entry to a digital marketplace with the benefit of paid promotion, fulfillment, and customer service.
