Throughout my personal and professional career, I have gained a tremendous amount of knowledge, insight, and gratitude for what it takes to be successful by thinking outside the box. I realize the importance of teams and communication and why it is needed to succeed in a globalized workforce. We often see the world through our lens (eyes) base on our upbringing, knowledge gained, and experience. This, however, leaves an entire world of things we may never have thought of or seen. Building diversified teams that are engaging can open our horizons to new ideas, concepts, and solutions. After all, education is all about sharing knowledge and information with one another.
Through the motto: “Life Aint Hard, It’s a Growth Perspective,” I develop inspirational leadership initiatives that focus on improving business operations. By creating intellectually stimulating environments, I strive to develop content and concepts that enhance knowledge, retention, and overall success. As a functional educator, I don’t focus solely on unnecessary information that goes in one ear and out the other. In other words, I try to bridge the gap outdated between theories and try to relate it to use in the real world based on personal experiences, current events, and other information.
So, you’re probably wondering who the heck I am. Well, I’m originally from Upper Michigan, a born and raised Yooper (Say yah to da U.P., eh?), that went to college in lower Michigan at Ferris State University. From Ferris, I received my Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Systems Administration and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Quality Improvement. My Doctorate (Ph.D.) is in Organizational Development and Leadership with a concentration in Risk Mitigation from Ashford University. I have over 15-year experience identifying, planning/consulting, and specializing in operations, leadership, systems, project management, and people. I believe education is a two-way street and something never-ending. Maybe it is just me, but I love to learn and would be a modern-day Van Wilder if I could.
With over 15 years of experience in both private and public sectors, I ensure organizational success with a marked emphasis on:
• Organizational Development and Leadership
• Emotional Intelligence
• Entrepreneurship
• Strategic Planning
• Innovation and Creative Change Management
• Agile Project Management
• Business and Personal Analysis
• Goal Setting
• Quality Improvement
• Program & People Assessments
• Organic and Inorganic Business Development
• Program Creation, Implementation, & Support
