Cecilia is an award winning international public speaker and presenter specialising in female empowerment, motivational speaking and product marketing. Recently, she won the Pride of Performance Award for her keynote address at the International Human Rights Commission World Summit 2021 and was also the keynote speaker for World Environment Day, hosted by the United Nations and SACEP, speaking to 25+ former and current prime ministers and presidents. She was listed as one of the official speakers for International Women's Day 2021 among other CEOs, business founders and bestselling authors. This year, she was also selected as one of two delegates to represent the UK at the British South Asian Youth Summit for ending violence against women and girls, and presented her policy work to two Nobel Laureates, including Malala Yousafzai.
To date, she has attended just under 100 promotional dinners, parties and product launches, and participated in over 50 international marketing campaigns.
Sports and TV:
Cecilia has previously appeared on the TV Programme Ninja Warrior, is currently taking her blackbelt in karate, and was a gold medallist at the JKA UK Karate Championships. She is also a European Championship level dodgeball player, and has won several awards in dressage. She skis, surfs, plays table tennis, skydives and scuba dives recreationally. A keen hiker, Cecilia has completed the Everest Base Camp trek, summited Santa Ana, Mount Sinai, Mount Toubkal, Acatenango, and San Pedro Volcano. In 2022, she will be taking part in international charity event UWCB as an official boxing competitor.
Politics:
By day, Cecilia is a Senior Policy Advisor and Head of Commissions Department in UK Government leading a directorate of 100+ people, and previously worked as Head Challenge Leader for two international NGO outreach programmes in the Amazon Jungle, Brazil and Chiang Mai, Thailand. Currently, she holds elected positions on three National Executive Committees in political think tank The Fabian Society, is an Ambassador for 50:50 Parliament, and is a board member of London's largest residents association. Through these positions as well as central government, she has worked with, interviewed and chaired events with over 50 members of UK and European Parliament, NGO representatives and international human rights lawyers.

Cecilia is additionally a political commentator writing on topics ranging from women's rights, humanitarian issues and international development, and has been published over 15 times. Examples include the Oxford Political Review, Backbench UK, Global Politics, iGlobal News and her most recent piece was nominated for the Foundation for European Progressives Academy.
