Chad Crawford

I’m a third-generation Floridian, producer, and TV host. After serving our country in the Navy, I launched my career in film after graduating from Full Sail University. I brought my passion for Florida and film together to produce six TV series, 12 documentaries, and over 200 episodes, winning 7 Emmy Awards over a 25-year career. Today I work with Conservation Florida to help spread awareness of the importance of land conservation. My presentation, “Protect Our Paradise,” comes from a lifelong quest to capture and share the good news of Florida with the masses. This journey has taken me to every swamp and main street, giving me a unique perspective on the Sunshine State unlike anyone else's. My presentation showcases both genius and ridiculous moments only Floida can deliver. I use video to bring humor and stoke emotion around key points. All leading up to an inspirational call to action that, as Floridians, we are all called to protect our paradise.

With four children Chad knows all too well the challenges of getting kids outside and connecting them to nature. He created the Emmy award-winning TV series “The Outsiders Club" in partnership with Florida State Parks to introduce children to the many benefits of connecting to the outside world.
