Chad is a husband, dad, granddad, brother, and servant leader. Chad and his wife Liz are blessed with a blended family of 5 children, and 9 grandchildren. Committed to serving and leading others, Chad recently joined the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Big Pines as the Chief Executive Officer, located in Northeast Texas. Chad grew up in Conroe, Texas, graduating from Conroe High School. As a student athlete, Chad played collegiate baseball and graduated from Baylor University with a BBA. Chad continued his higher education by completing a Master’s in Counseling and Special Education Teaching
Certificate from Sam Houston State University. To continue his lifelong learning journey, Chad became a Certified Leadership Coach, Speaker, and Trainer on the John Maxwell Team. Chad is also a licensed minister of the Gospel, making a life-long commitment in high school to serve kids and families. Chad’s served as a deacon, elder, minster, and teacher within the local churches where he’s lived.
Professionally, the mission and heart of Chad’s experience has been focused on encouraging people of all ages to reach their God given potential. Chad began his career as a Special Education Teacher in Conroe I.S.D., and continued further as the Director of Challenge Course & Employee Wellness Programs, and a Crisis Intervention Counselor during his 12 years of service. Chad continued his servant leadership experience as the Executive Director of Camp Buckner in the Texas Hill Country; the Executive Director of a Presbyterian Children’s Home in Itasca, Texas; The Executive Director of the Crisis Assistance Center in Conroe, Texas; and currently serves as the CEO with the Boys and Girls Club of the Big Pines. Chad has owned a leadership coaching and speaking business since 1998, helping leaders and teams across multi-faceted industries, both corporate and not for profit, grow and get better. Chad loves his wife and family, and enjoys learning, serving, reading, traveling, fitness, and having fun.
