Chanel King is married with 3 children. She is a BLS instructor and Certified Professional, Life and Disaster Recovery Coach. Chanel is the CEO of Cap City Rescue Training and strives to revive hearts, minds, and lives.
Chanel was a ward of the state. When she turned 18, she found herself at a disadvantage due to her young age, lack of financial support, emotional support, guidance and stability. Fortunately, she had passion, resilience, fortitude, character and drive and she skillfully used her attributes to create many opportunities for herself. She was able to develop skill sets in administration, education, healthcare and business. Chanel observed company cultures in various industries and began to recognize key fractures within employee relationships and its impact on company productivity. She discovered a silent epidemic.
Her road was not easy but her circumstances broke her in all of the right places. She decided young in life, to champion for disenfranchised individuals and for causes that supported victims of exploitation. She spent her last years working in healthcare before opening up her own business.
Chanel found refuge in her writing and spent 12 years performing as a spoken word artist. She wrote for newspapers, magazines and even had her own parenting column. She loves creative writing and poetry and plans to release a multimedia project in the future. Chanel enjoys bike riding, reading, going on hikes, cooking and being with her family and friends.
Cap City Rescue Training is reviving hearts through comprehensive training. We will revive minds with progress made through guidance and revive lives through empowerment.
