Charlmayne has worn many hats and fulfilled many roles. In her 32 years, she has been in and out of the United States Marine Corps, obtained a master's cosmetology license, written multiple books, obtained a transformation coach certification, a real estate license, as well as created several self-development courses. Charlmayne is also a Reiki Mast practitioner. Despite the various roads she has traveled, she repeatedly found herself led to help women heal.
She is a wife, mother of 4, and a trauma survivor. Because of her life experiences, she knows firsthand what it is like to fall the role of the victim and martyr. Some of those experiences include:
Being abandoned by her mother
Years of sexual molestation
Clinical depression & anxiety diagnosis
Survivor of bullying
Multiple suicide attempts
Survivor of physical, mental, and emotional abuse
Pregnancy at 18
No sense of self-worth
It is because of those challenges that Charlmayne made healing a primary focus for herself. Exhausted with her role as the victim, she decided it was time to transform her life. Her journey was filled with many lessons and much trial and error, but once she began healing authentically Charlmayne reached back to help other women along their journeys of healing and rewriting their narratives.
She is a firm believer that regardless of their pasts, regardless of any false narratives they or anyone else has written for them, all women have the power, right, and responsibility to co-create their lives to be one they love to live on purpose, with purpose!
