Chris has spent most of his life in Colorado, having moved from Minnesota to Manitou Springs at the age of 12. His father, a 2 tour Vietnam Marine raised him as a single dad with help from his grandparents, grandfather being a WW2 veteran. Chris was 13 when he knew he was going to join the Marines after seeing news footage of the Marine barracks in Lebanon being bombed and at 19 he did. Chris served in the 1st Gulf War as a Marine Artillery Cannoneer. His small unit being the 1st to engage enemy forces in ground combat during they're 1st of several unconventional artillery raids.
After being honorably discharged Chris got into the car business and never looked back and is still enjoying a highly successful career. If asked, his crowning achievement would undoubtedly be raising his wonderful daughter, also as a single dad. Chris is an avid outdoors man, backpacker, skier, gym junkie and health nut who also spends time playing guitar, volunteering at church, Toys for Tots drives and various local veterans organizations.
Having his own struggles with PTSD, Chris now focuses his attention helping on veterans advocacy and public speaking to mentor and guide fellow combat veterans through they're daily struggles in society and in dealing with the VA.
