A nomadic childhood in Qatar, Oman and Indonesia led me to learn many languages and be exposed to many cultures, so I decided to study Sinology and spend a year in Beijing. Upon completing my BA in 2011, my life took a few unexpected turns.
In an effort to satisfy my strong interest for international development, I co-founded an association that was focused on implementing life long education models in developing countries. I didn’t get very far in this endeavor, but it was my first experience of starting something from scratch - and working with others on a common goal.
After many stops along the way, I co-founded Safary in August 2012 in Berlin.
As COO of Safary and Tash, I was involved in all areas of operations, administration and strategy. I learned more than any internship, degree or job could teach me, and gained many valuable experiences that go hand in hand with founding and growing a company. Safary has spread to several places around the world, helping hundreds of companies and thousands of job seekers find the right fit.
In October 2014, I decided to move on to the next step. After working in B2B sales and account management, I'm currently the evangelist for Teamleader, where I travel around Europe to pitch at conferences, give workshops for early stage companies and speak to startups about growing their business.
I'm the mother of dragons.
