Curtis Lee Jones, Jr.

“Effective communication is like playing a game of catch, not a game of dodge ball.” Using memorable examples and real life analogies, Curtis inspires participants to examine their own communication habits and identify areas for growth, all while providing concrete ways to implement and use the skills identified is this presentation.

"Your job is to empower people. Leaders create leaders and if you create a bunch of followers, you are doing a disservice to yourself and your followers." Combining aspects of transformational, authentic and servant leadership, Curtis provides participants with functional ways to develop their leadership skills while inspiring and motivating them to be the best leader they can be.

"Find where we are alike rather than the differences. Everybody looks at how we are different. But we don't often get into how we are alike." This workshop is developed for individuals who want to hone their bridging skills and enhance their ability to create effective and collaborative partnerships between diverse communities.
