It will cover current drug trends, potency, availability and discussion on the societal and cultural acceptance that will impact our children for generations to come. (1-2 hrs)
Course Description: Drug culture constantly evolves and changes through time while various factions remain constant. This course offers a comprehensive review of updated drug trends including new substances, potency and availability, the role of the cartels, and the seemingly inextinguishable force that is the “Dark Net.” Course Objectives: After attending the course, a participant will be able to: • demonstrate knowledge of current drugs and their availability; • identify chemicals involved as well as common side effects; • become aware and obtain a general understanding of how the dark net operates; • examine societal acceptance vs. corporate acceptance of drugs and realistic expectations for the future; and • become more motivated to continue and strive harder with prevention efforts. (2-6 hrs)
