This course offers a comprehensive review of updated drug trends including new substances, potency and availability, the role of the cartels, and the seemingly inextinguishable force that is the “Dark Net.” Course Objectives: After attending the course, a participant will be able to: • demonstrate knowledge of current drugs and their availability; • identify chemicals involved as well as common side effects; • become aware and obtain a general understanding of how the dark net operates; • examine societal acceptance vs. corporate acceptance of drugs and realistic expectations for the future; and • become more motivated to continue and strive harder with prevention efforts.
