If I had to define my life’s work in as few words as possible, these two would make the cut: female empowerment. That’s because I’m passionate about providing women with opportunities that let them lean in on their own terms. To this end, I wear a lot of hats: entrepreneur, realtor, designer, public speaker, podcaster, mentor, coach,
Before discovering what really drives me, I spent two decades in the digital design space, co-founding companies, winning awards, and killing it as a creative director. During this time, I worked with clients like LCBO, British Airways, Metrolinx, The Globe and Mail, Nestle, and many others. I also grew a small marketing startup into a million-dollar business in just a few years.
In 2013, I read Sheryl Sandberg’s book and was inspired to co-found Lean In Canada, a network of women that grew to 6,000 members in only 5 years. Not surprisingly, I made a wealth of connections during this time and discovered a deep-seated desire that continues to drive my life’s work. Whether I’m helping women achieve financial freedom through real estate, or curating a monthly list of female empowerment events to bring like-minded ladies together, my goal has always been the same: to empower my fellow females.
So why me? Because my life passions and skill set are one and the same. (How many people can honestly say that?) Digital marketing and brand design. Coaching and mentoring. Creating connections and community. I know exactly what it takes to get female entrepreneurs, experts, and thought leaders noticed. And I love doing it.
Plus, I’ve been featured on CBC Radio, the National Post, Sun News Network, Livabl, and in Flare Magazine discussing issues that are pertinent to women. So when it comes to being in the public eye, I’ve been there. Done that.
I’d love to connect! Reach out anytime.
