Diane Lampert is a nationally recognized garden and native wildlife writer, lecturer, and television personality with a passion for beautiful and ecologically sensitive gardening. Through her stewardship she was awarded the Presidential Environmental Award and was recognized as a trained landscape professional by the Conservation Commission of Greenwich, CT.
Diane founded Bringing The Greenback to share her knowledge of gardening by writing, lecturing nationwide, appearing on television and radio shows, and working as a consultant to restaurants, growers, homeowners, and seed companies. Relatively new to Connecticut, Diane demonstrated her initiative to learn and is currently enrolled in the University of Connecticut Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Program.
Ms. Lampert serves on the board of the Greenwich Botanical Center, the CFA Institute Research Foundation and chaired the CHRISTUS Healthcare Investment Committee. Diane is a volunteer for the Greenwich Land Trust and Habitat for Humanity, Ms. Lampert holds a BBA from Hofstra University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
