Ebony Travis Tichenor joined Boston Scientific in 1997, where she has had a long and successful career working with the sales organization. Ebony has held many roles and most recently served as the manager, global compliance communications and training. In February 2016 she moved to the Human Resource team working as the Manager, Global Diversity and Inclusion, where she is responsible for collaborating with executive business leaders to design and implement their local D&I strategies. In addition, Ebony helps to lead the People of Color Strategy as part of Boston Scientific’s overall 10-20-40 Diversity and Inclusion strategic goals. She also partners with Close the Gap, Boston Scientific's health equity initiative, which aims to eliminate cardiovascular care disparities and ensure all patients receive optimal cardiac care while also working a short-term assignment through end of 2019 in the Legal Department under Employee Relations as of March 1st, 2019. She is known amongst her colleagues as having a tireless work ethic, an energetic, positive personality as well as being a trusted advisor to many.
She has moderated many leadership panels during her tenure with Boston Scientific both internally and externally where she helps to navigate discussions around diversity and inclusion, diverse recruiting, mentorship, navigating one’s career and personal banding just to name a few. She loves to spend time being fit & healthy and mentoring and inspiring many to help them achieve their dreams. Ebony earned an MBA in Human Resource Management, certification in PHR (Professional Human Resources), and works remotely from Dallas, Texas.
