Two of the main goals of any leader are to find the right people and to provide them with the right tools to do their best work. However, many organizations aren’t necessarily doing that because of a lack of cultural awareness about neurodiversity. We’re not just talking about autistic people, ADHDers or dyslexic people. Because every person’s brain is wired differently, neurodiversity applies to everyone, whether they are neurotypical or neurodivergent. A vital future skill for business leaders is to recognize that every workforce has different types of thinkers. Therefore, they must provide an environment where they can thrive. This allows companies to attract, retain and get the most from the best talent.
