Everette Parker, Retired Navy Command Master Chief and Proud Veteran
Master Chief Petty Officer Everette “Lamont” Parker was born in and raised in Beaufort, South Carolina. He graduated from Beaufort High School in 1991. Everette enlisted in the Navy on 24 June 1992 and completed 25 years of service to this great Nation. Master Chief, as we call him… boasts 12 years of sea time, and 6 deployments. His last assignment was Command Master Chief and Navy Senior Enlisted Advisor to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst where his leadership influence impacted 30,000 military, Department of Defense employees, and contractor personnel.
Everette is married to the beautiful Donnika “Dee” Parker. They have a wonderful family of seven children, five of which are now adults. They reside in South Carolina just outside of Charleston. The couple has launched their non-profit organization “Surviving Chance Encounters Foundation” to give back to their community.
Everette has earned a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Phoenix, a Human Resources Management Certification from Villanova University, graduated from the Navy’s Senior Enlisted Academy as well as the Navy’s Elite Command Leadership School. Everette is currently completing the Master of Arts, Youth and Family Ministry at Grand Canyon University. His personal awards include the Navy Meritorious Service Medal, Navy Commendation Medals (five awards), Naval Achievement Medal (six awards), and His favorite… the Good Conduct Medal (seven awards). He has also earned the Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist pin, Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist pin, Master Training Specialist Qualification and the Command pin. Everette is an inspiration to many, and is well on his way to becoming an iconic Inspirational/ Motivational Speaker.
