  • We've engaged Fran for several of our Insider's Forum conferences, and each time she has offered the most practical advice on building an excellent staff team, and maintaining it, that I or our audience has encountered. In my introduction, I told the audience that I was in awe of her ability to take this complicated topic and reduce it to clear, actionable steps.

  • Fran Skinner is an engaging public speaker with important ideas about how to motivate teams for optimal engagement and performance. I appreciated her online charisma and her enthusiasm for the topic. She included clear visuals and thought-provoking data in her presentation which helped her message resonate.

  • I have experienced Fran's engaging workshops on multiple occasions and am a huge fan. In my prior role as the Operations Director for Satori Capital, an alternative asset manager, we brought Fran out on four separate occasions to deliver content to the team after she was highly recommended to us by a trusted friend in the industry. She was a hit with our team! Not only is her content rich and highly informative, but I would even say she is entertaining and kept us smiling and on our toes. She covers expansive ground in a short amount of time, so she moves at a good clip which our team always appreciated. Her "money manager due diligence" workshop left a lasting impression and led to significantly improved internal processes for the firm. I consider Fran to be a subject matter and financial services industry expert. I look forward to her publications in Barron's and highly recommend her as a resource to any organization seeking to increase intellectual capital.

  • Fran made a huge difference in our company and my leadership. She presents in a clear and articulate manner with actionable content and great presentation materials. She has a very unique skill set of understanding the investment managment business but also understanding how culture, teamwork, strategy and communication can transform a company. I highly recommend Fran and will use her again in the future.

  • Fran Skinner shared her experience as a woman in business with a background in accounting and finance at a Women Excelling in Business (WEB) meeting at the University at Albany. Her advice on learning how to market oneself and one’s abilities, not waiting for recognition but taking ownership of one’s work and proving oneself through their work deeply resonated with the members of the organization. She is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about her work and shares her experiences openly for all to learn from. The confidence Fran exuded was the first characteristic I noticed about her and drew my attention immediately. She was a great pleasure to have.

  • Fran came and spoke to us at CFA Society Virginia last week ago about "Achieving Next-Level Success by Leveraging Relationships.". She was awesome! In addition to being likable and extremely well prepared, she gave our members great advice about leadership development and giving and soliciting feedback, among several other topics. Fran was also available after the meeting for follow up questions. I highly recommend Fran for future CFA speaking engagements! Matthew Cullen, President, CFA Society Virginia

  • Fran's workshop on conducting due diligence for money managers was a game-changer for our firm. It transformed our qualitative due diligence process and gave us a framework for how we get to know the managers we consider partnering with. She is an entertaining and engaging speaker who provides truly useful insights.

  • I saw Fran speak at the Diversity & Inclusion in Wealth Management Conference in Pittsburgh (June 2019). She spoke on "Achieving 'Next-Level' Success by Leveraging Advocates" at a break out session. The break out session attracted a meaningful number of attendees (there was another option). She was engaging with the audience, and had an interesting perspective that resonated. It is one of the few times I have seen cell phones get put down at a conference - the audience was captivated!

  • I have heard Fran speak a couple times now. I very much appreciate that Fran gives actionable advice and practical applications. I commonly sign up for events and find although the topics are relevant, I rarely leave with anything actionable. That is not the case with Fran. In this most recent CFA event hosted by Fran: I left with a new networking contact within my industry, a better understanding of where my delegation falls short, and actionable ideas on how to improve my team’s attitude & efficiency. That was all done within one hour's time. I was super impressed and grateful; its these types of experiences that make signing up for all these online "events" and "sessions" very worth it. Fran is top notch.
