Dr. Gautam Arora is a Neurology and Pain Management Specialist. He is the CEO and Medical Director of the Neurology and Pain Management Clinic (NPMC) located in Delhi, India. At the same time, he is leading GNG Medical Supplies as its sole proprietor and Medical Director.
On the other hand, he is also on a mission to make healthcare available to everyone. To realize his goals, Gautam is leading the development of a telehealth website which he calls neuroandpain.clinic. Through this website, he aims to bring medical services to patients in India at an affordable price and in a reliable manner.
For the past ten years, he built his career by providing general neurology treatments for headache, Dementia, Parkinson’s disease and seizures. He also conducts diagnostic tests like EEG and EMG and pain management interventions including cancer pain management, epidurals, facet blocks, and trigger point injections for CV patients, and spinal cord stimulation.
Dr. Gautam started his professional career by serving as a Research Consultant to the State University of New York (SUNY) - Department of Neurology. From 2003 to 2005, he assisted them by conducting medical research for the clinical drug development in Stroke and Multiple Sclerosis.
In the following years, he finished his fellowship and residency at the Internal Medicine and Neurology Department of SUNY and the Pain Medicine Department of Emory University in Georgia.
Upon completing the training for five years, he joined the Archbold Hospital and South Georgia Neurological, simultaneously providing medical services to his patients there. After a year, he transitioned to serving patients at the Lakeshore Hospital and Southtowns Neurology in New York where he worked for almost a year as well.
Furthermore, from 2012 to 2018, he continued treating patients at the Lakeshore Hospital while serving those at Hens Pain and Neurology. And prior to his current roles at GNG Medical and NPMC, he became a Consultant Neurologist at Kailash Hospital for four months.
Aiming to be one of the best in his specialization, Gautam joined workshops like the Cadaver Workshop held by the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ABIPP). He was also part of Medtronics which took place in Atlanta, Georgia, and the University of Cincinnati’s Boston Scientific.
Education and Affiliations
Growing up in India, Gautam Arora graduated from the JD Tytler School in New Delhi. After that, he continued his studies by taking up an MBBS and MD degree at the University College of Medical Sciences. To complete his doctorate degree, he interned at the GTB Hospital from 2002 to 2003.
Apart from having a strong educational background, he is a proud member of medical organizations which include the American Academy of Neurology (AAN), the American Academy of Pain Medicine, and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.
