Child of immigrant parents, John Bellomo is a Renaissance man "Uomo Universale" (Universal Man) with many talents & experiences from all over the world.
He learned to speak English when he began his schooling at a very early age. He spent much of his school years struggling to keep pace. John recalls those difficult years which helped build his character.
The result was developing many survival skills not common to many native speakers.
In his late teenage years, he started bouncing in a bar during his senior high school year just to earn money and to see what society was about after hours.
After graduating high school John crossed the Hudson and worked security in several NYC nightclubs where he endured a war-like environment. This was not the suburbs, but the turbulent times in NYC when the city was not nearly as tame as it is today.
Years of a lifetime of stories conveyed to him by his grandfather of his experience fighting for Italy during WWl also as a Prussian prisoner of War for 3 1/2 years. The tails of survival had unwittingly prepared John psychologically to endure the effects of several ambushes by shooters while working that had resulted in numerous injuries to his staff and almost losing his own life.
After tackling the social world and nighttime clubs, he decided to tackle a far more turbulent atmosphere: Wall Street. Accepting the position and learning very quickly a year later with a partner John began their own European institutional brokerage department in Europe where John provided Market & Geopolitical analysis also investment advice earning the trust & respect of the Money managers in Switzerland, Luxembourg, and France, etc. rasing Millions of dollars for many startup companies.
During his years in Europe, John was asked to join a semi-pro American football team where he had a short stint playing for the Swiss city team called Geneva Seahawks fulfilling a childhood dream to play football at a pro level.
After many years of living abroad, John decided he would like to return to the States for a new life and he did so by opening a vegan cafe in a yet to be revitalized and extremely bohemian South Beach Maimi Florida.
John had been able to successfully interweave over these brokerage years and beyond acting classes doing so with some of the best and legendary teachers in the business in NYC. John a SAG/AFTRE AEA member has appeared on stage in films Television & pilots, as well as performing improv.
