Heather Bassett

Heather’s life started off as a “Miracle” born with 2 large holes in her heart and many health complications. For weeks, Doctors confidently doubted her survival, many times, but God constantly intervened, disproving their claims. Doctor’s then referred to her as; “The Miracle Child.”

Little did Heather know, as she journeyed through life, she would continue to experience supernatural miracles, and Faith growing opportunities, as her divine purpose here on Earth is revealed.

Heather's parents were both physically and emotionally absent, so she was raised by her grandparents and older sister, in a Christian household. Communication wasn’t encouraged in the household so when Heather was humiliated by her 4th-grade teacher all year, bullied by students in upper grades, for the next two years, and experienced death for the first time, in the 7th grade, when her Grandfather/Father figure passed…she remained silent.

As an escape, Heather utilized her creative side in writing poetry as “A solution to release and express my thoughts precisely,”

Although, she was learning how to express herself through writing, identifying the root causes were unaddressed. As a ripple effect, for the next 27 years, Heather experienced emotional and mental distress; playing a pivotal role in the development of anxiety, self-esteem, self-worthlessness, and co-dependency issues.

Although Heather experienced emotional/mental distress and trials; such as death, poverty, rape, addiction, celibacy, and single mother parenting for 24 years, she also experienced triumphs. Heather experienced more miracles and grew personally as she sought counseling, completed many years of self-healing programs, developed love for herself/others, and Faith in Jesus. At 40, a devastating event happened that caused her to realize her suppressed emotions were still contributing greatly to her decisions. Through this event, she finally surrendered 100% to God. She identified, embraced, accepted, and forgive all the past hurts in order for her to heal emotionally.

Heather now transforms people’s lives by encouraging them to embrace and utilize the power within themselves and take ownership of their identity in Jesus in order to rise up from fear, shame, co-dependency, and lack of self-esteem, self-worth, and lack of confidence issues.

She also inspires those to acknowledge Jesus is in all circumstances good and challenging, from her newest book.

Founder of Confidence Speaks - A program for 9 -17 year-old, using the Psychologically proven affirmation philosophy to increase self- esteem, self-worth, and confidence.

04/2019 this program was approved by the State of California as a continued education course for Administers in Group Homes.
