Delivered in China in April, 2015, at the request of a regional development agency of the People's Government at the Third World Emerging Industries Summit held in Zhengzhou. The thrust of this presentation is how to identify, train and manage the creative members of society who, as individuals, can contribute billions to a company and nation's economy. In many respects we are not identifying these individuals and are generally managing them very poorly in the workplace.

Delivered in Vienna, Austria, 2015, at a conference on sustainable cities. Seen from the perspective of Geological time, climate change is a common event in world history with dramatic sea level changes being commonly seen in the Geologic record. Although the author agrees that pumping billions of tons of polluting agents into the atmosphere is undesirable, and should be controlled, dramatic changes in sea levels are nothing new and should be anticipated.

This poster and presentation presented at the Conference on Ecological and Ecosystem Restoration in 2014 (CEER 2014) in New Orleans described the use of found and local materials to create offshore barriers in third-world countries to test best practices for mitigating coastal erosion due to storm surges. The presentation advocates a central clearing house where information on techniques and results could be shared world-wide in projects largely done and reported on by citizen-scientist groups.
