Dr. Niraj (Raj) Nijhawan is a practicing physician and founder/CEO of the Life Ecology Organization (LEO). He was raised in Milwaukee, WI, graduated from the University of Wisconsin Medical School in 1992, and completed a medical residency in Anesthesiology/Critical Care at the Medical College of Wisconsin as well as a Master's degree in clinical research through a National Institutes of Health Scientist Training Grant. Over the course of his career he has overseen several medical departments in hospitals and healthcare systems in Wisconsin. His passion for nearly 30 years has been cataloging, practicing, teaching, and helping people integrate the latest knowledge from the realms of medical, social, and neuroscience into their lives. He founded LEO in 2014 with the mission to establish dynamic, exhilarating, and effective workplaces and communities to help society in these difficult times. Since then, thousands of people from at-risk teenagers to corporate executives have benefitted from LEO workshops. In addition to his ongoing development of the LEO platform, Raj frequently gives talks on how we can harness the power of our brains to unlock joy, improve physical and mental health, and elevate teams to higher levels of performance. There has been universal acclaim for the presentations as being life-changing, entertaining, and a call to immediate practical action.
