At the Bigger Ideas Conference, I presented “Rejection is Redirection: Having a Resilient Mindset”, where I shared my personal journey of navigating rejection during my career transition from London to Vancouver. I spoke about the challenges of adapting to a new country and way of working, particularly after a job offer fell through despite my relocation plans. This setback forced me to reassess what I truly wanted in life and professional growth. By embracing the idea of "rejection as redirection," I redefined my goals and forged a new path that allowed me to pursue my passion for film and television. I highlighted the importance of resilience, adaptability, and the courage to pivot when things don’t go as planned, turning obstacles into opportunities for growth and personal fulfillment.
