Engaging Emotionally Intelligent Team
Building inclusion and community among teams is key in helping them to collaborate, work through conflict and become productive colleagues. When teams develop their emotional intelligence skills they will apply them to all that they do. In this workshop participants will: Explore the components of emotional intelligence; Examine emotional intelligence in the workplace; Consider their own emotional intelligence skills; Learn how to read emotional information in others; Discover emotionally intelligent ways to build inclusion and community with teams; Assess their own community inclusion: Develop a community plan for moving forward.
Building Inclusive Teams Through Personality Dimensions
Everyone is unique with their own values, strengths, joys and stressors. Understanding each other builds strong foundations for all of our personal and professional relationships. However, as John Gottman explains, conflict is inevitable. When people have deep knowledge of each other, conflict is unlikely to escalate. Personality Dimensions provides a foundation for solid communication and strategies for building a strong community. In this workshop participants will: Understand their own strengths and weaknesses; Recognize and understand the strengths and preferences of others; Learn ways to improve communication and interpersonal relationships; Realize that our differences are “gifts’ and not faults; Make connections to emotional intelligence; Develop a plan for moving forward in working with others.
Exploring Individual Emotional Intelligence
